Chrysler recalls Dodge Journey crossovers, Ram trucks for various defects

Dodge Journey

Come February 2011 and some of the Dodge Journey crossovers and Ram Trucks from Chrysler Group would be called back by the company for reasons that differ from model to model. For instance, it can be a defective steering wheel or a side impact airbag sensor not functioning or a noisy rear axle which are the factors that has led to the recall being issued. There are 65 units of the car which have a defective airbag issue. All these vehicles have been manufactured between November 1st 2007 till September 7th 2008. The NHTSA for National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website indicates that the wires within the front door wire harnesses could fatigue and break. This would lead to the side-impact sensors from not functioning and leading to inoperative side airbags.
