Pricelist 2011 Acura MDX: AWD with Advance and Technology

Whenever you buy a car, there are three factors that you need to consider apart from the main criterion - the cost of the car. They are fuel costs (check the engine performance and mileage provided by the car and review the fuel prices), regular maintenance expenses (this of course greatly depends on your driving habits) and finally the insurance costs.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUIzTX4mVo7Wrgt6aG7sKj63GR2JdeLM1_rMGkYGEnmbeFq8qtALNgAdbkTVs3r8AtET4tH8d01ykO5CLlN4JmvXXlgK_2jo9wenN3HdFn18AO-Bef2UURW9NOeyW7NU6sqxe9xxm3qF4/s1600/2011-Future-Cars-4.jpg

In case you are buying a car like the Acura MDX, the last may be a very affordable price. This is because this vehicle is basically a mid-sized SUV. By concentrating on three main factors again, you can minimize the amount you will be entitled to pay every year for the Acura MDX insurance. The first one is the ratings provided for the car. There are many authorized organizations which conduct crash tests and publish reports on the car performance.

2010 Acura MDX

2010 Acura MDX

The 2010 Acura MDX ranks 1 out of 17 Luxury Midsize SUVs. This ranking is based on our analysis of 78 published reviews and test drives of the Acura MDX, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.  The 2010 Acura MDX’s cabin is stylish, comfortable and better equipped than ever. However, despite Acura’s attempts to better organize the dashboard controls, several reviewers still find the layout confusing.

2010 Acura TSX V6 Sports Sedan

Acura debuted the all-new Acura TSX V6 sports sedan at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show. Scheduled to go on sale this summer, the 2010 Acura TSX V6 will be equipped with a powerful 3.5-liter engine, exclusive suspension tuning, larger diameter wheels and additional enhancements.
The 2010 Acura TSX V6 is really an American car. It’s so American that it works better with a 3.5-liter V6 engine than it does with its 2.4-liter inline-4, which is kind of a surprise for a car that comes from Honda by way of its premium car division.

The new Acura TSX model will feature a state-of-the-art, double-wishbone front and multilink rear suspension system to provide excellent ride, handling and control.

The 2010 Acura TSX V6 has its American car thing pretty together on the highway. It’s pretty comfortable, pretty composed and pretty undemanding. Yet like the TSX four-cylinder, it has a peculiar mix of soggy damping at low speeds that lets the car bob and weave more than it should, while the suspension calibration at freeway speed feels too lively, as if someone had put 80 psi of air in the tires.

Acura ZDX Concept, 2009

Acura ZDX Concept, 2009

The Acura ZDX Concept is designed to break new ground for Acura in the areas of provocative styling, contemporary luxury and meticulous refinement. With its sensuous curves, sharply raked roof line and bold fender flares, the Acura ZDX Concept blurs the distinction between coupe, sedan and sport utility vehicle. Clean, flowing lines start from the headlights and run the length of the car, accentuating the cars presence and grace.
In keeping with the coupe-inspired styling, the rear door handles are cleverly concealed in the C-pillar. The all-glass tailgate opens wide to reveal a highly functional cargo space with integrated under-floor storage. The prototype is finished off with stylish dual chrome exhaust outlets and 9-spoke machined wheels fitted with 20-inch Michelin tires.
Inside,
The Acura ZDX Concept exudes modern luxury while focusing on pampering the front passengers. The cabin is enveloped in leather, which gives the interior a luxurious and inviting feel. The hand-stitched leather dash and instrument panel sweep down to form a dual cockpit layout, creating a personal and intimate experience for the front seat occupants.
The premium leather seats are highly bolstered to support the passengers during sporty driving and at the same time provide comfort during a long getaway. A black monochromatic center stack leads to the textured metallic center console, which complements the black and pearl white leather trim. The thick leather wrapped steering wheel provides ample grip and is framed by racing-inspired paddle shifters for the ultimate in driver control. The cabin is enclosed by a panoramic glass roof which runs the entire length of the vehicle, providing occupants with a breathtaking view of the world around them.

Acura TSX, 2009

Acura TSX, 2009

The Acura provided a one-two punch with the world debut of the all-new second-generation Acura TSX sports sedan along with the appearance of the redesigned RL luxury performance sedan at the New York International Auto Show today. With new engines, refined drivetrain, and Acura's latest Keen Edge Dynamic styling, the all-new Acura TSX and RL highlight a new direction for Acura sedans.

Producing 201 hp from a 2.4-liter engine, the DOHC VTEC in-line 4-cylinder now delivers its power across a much wider rpm range. Along with more torque, the new 2.4L is also cleaner as it meets EPA TIER 2-BIN 5 and CARB LEV II Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standards.

Merging crisp, dynamic design with a bold new signature Acura grille, the 2009 Acura TSX is more distinctive and sporty. Due to its greater length and width, wider track, and longer wheelbase, the new Acura TSX provides additional interior room while new fully independent front and rear suspension with dual-stage dampers provides more agile handling.

Designed with an emphasis on safety, the 2009 Acura TSX now makes use of Acura's esteemed Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure. The 2009 Acura TSX, with ACE and a host of other safety features, is expected to achieve the highest ratings in both governmental (NHTSA) and independent (IIHS) crash testing - including IIHS's Top Safety Pick.

Acura TL, 2009

Acura TL, 2009

The Acura TL performance luxury sedan has set lofty standards for styling, performance, comfort and technology. Available for 2009 in two distinctly different models, Acura TL and TL SH-AWD, the all-new fourth-generation Acura TL dramatically expands the model's capabilities and appeal with evocative style, a choice of two VTEC powertrains .

Powertrain
A choice of two different all-aluminum VTEC engines enables the new 2009 Acura TL to satisfy a wide range of customers. Standard is a 3.5-liter V-6 producing 280 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque that sends power to the front wheels through Acura's sophisticated Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel- mounted paddle shifters and Grade Logic Control. Though powerful, the new engine is also fuel efficient, with projected EPA fuel economy ratings of 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. The engine is targeted to meet California's tough CARB LEV II ULEV emissions certification standards, thanks to features including a Drive-by-Wire throttle system, Computer-Controlled Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) for the intake valves.
Acura TL's performance achievements extend to durability, reliability and refinement as well. Both engines feature electronically controlled engine mounts to reduce engine noise, vibration and harshness (NVH); quiet and efficient Electric Power Steering (EPS) and maintenance-free serpentine accessory belt also boost operating refinement.

Body/Chassis
Major improvements in structural engineering for the unit-body further define the 2009 Acura TL. The list of substantial changes begins with the relocation of frame rails inside (rather than underneath) the vehicle's floor pan, resulting in a nearly flat body underside. Benefits of this design include improved crash safety, a significant reduction in interior noise levels, and reduced aerodynamic drag that helps enhance fuel economy. Another significant improvement is the increased use of high-strength steel, which simultaneously improves the unit-body's overall strength while helping to reduce weight. For additional weight savings, aluminum is used for the hood, the front suspension sub frame and rear suspension knuckles.

Exterior/Interior
An evocative and powerful exterior body design dramatically advances the Acura TL's image as a performance luxury sedan. Designed by Acura in Southern California, the Acura TL utilizes an array of styling techniques to express motion - and emotion - even when the car is at rest. Featuring Acura's new signature front grille, body sides defined by strong character lines, sweeping C-pillars and new LED taillights, the 2009 Acura TL is simultaneously Acura and yet wholly unique. Plentiful use of luxury and performance features add visual appeal while adding to the Acura TL's vigorous statement - including bright HID projector-beam front headlights, pronounced wheel arches, a standard power moon roof and genuine stainless-steel body trim.

Safety
Six airbags and a new active head restraint system for the driver and front passenger headrests top the long list of passive safety features built into the new Acura TL. The airbag array includes dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags, new dual-chamber front seat side airbags with front passenger seat Occupant Position Detection System, along with side-curtain airbags for all outboard seating positions. Additional passive-safety features include 3-point seatbelts and head restraints for all seating positions, driver and front passenger seatbelt load-limiters with an automatic tensioning system and a Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren (LATCH) system that permits quick, secure attachment of up to two child seats in the rear seating area.

The new Acura TL includes sophisticated active safety features including powerful 4-wheel disc brakes (with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), all-season tires and an available SH-AWD system. Adding to the list of standard exterior safety features are daytime running lights (DRL) along with 2.5-mph front and rear bumpers.

The Acura TL is designed to meet the latest crash-safety regulations, including the new FMVSS214 side crash standards (which the TL meets three years early) and the new FMVSS301 rear crash standards. Internal testing indicates that the 2009 Acura TL should achieve the highest ratings in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) crash tests.

The Acura TL is assembled in Marysville, Ohio and is covered by a comprehensive 4-year/50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 6-year/70,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. Additional benefits of ownership include Acura Total Luxury Care (TLC), which provides free 24-hour roadside assistance, concierge service and trip routing.

Acura RL, 2009

Acura RL, 2009

The Body and Chassis
To further enhance handling and ride comfort, the new Acura RL retains a fully independent suspension system with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link architecture. For 2009 the Acura RL features higher rate coil springs, larger diameter stabilizer bars, stiffer subframe mount bushings and improved design steering rack components. To further improve handling and looks, new 18-inch diameter 7-spoke aluminum wheels are matched with more aggressive tires (replacing the previous 17-inch wheel/tire offering).

Exterior/Interior
The 2009 Acura RL's new exterior styling is not only more aggressive, but delivers excellent aerodynamics and reduced rear lift at higher speeds. The Acura RL's more athletic style foreshadows the power concealed by the new power plenum front grille and blow-formed aluminum hood. The RL's shape is taut and athletic, and its acceleration and cornering performance allow it to challenge the most capable German and Japanese sports sedans. Comfort, quietness and ride quality are also on a par with performance sedan competitors.

Inside, the Acura RL features a more elegantly styled interior that includes more room for rear seat passengers, easier-to-use front seat belts, door-mounted pull pockets, softer arm rests, redesigned vents, larger/clearer lettering for HVAC controls, and easier actuation of climate control functions. A revised steering wheel with available genuine wood trim (included with the CMBS package) and metal-look accents is now fitted to the Acura RL along with a matching wood-trimmed transmission shift knob. Complementing the steering wheel are upgraded gauges that incorporate brushed metal accents for enhanced appearance. For 2009, additional insulation, a more high-tech design of Acura's acoustic glass windshield, and a new Active Sound Control (ASC) noise abatement system team to further reduce the Acura RL's already quiet cabin.

The Safety
The Acura RL retains Acura's extremely rigid Advanced Compatibility Engineeringbody structure that features extensive use of high-tensile steel and lightweight aluminum components to take vehicle construction beyond conventional safety protocols while keeping overall vehicle weight in check. The ACE structure's front-mounted polygonal main frame is designed to help prevent cabin deformation by distributing frontal impact forces through multiple load bearing pathways--and away from the passenger compartment. For 2009, to enhance safety a new Active Head Restraint System is built into the front seats to help improve neck and head protection in the event in a rear impact collision. To further aid in safety, the Acura RL includes as standard a passenger seat belt reminder, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and 6 airbags.
